Human resource planning is primarily an educational issue. At least two kinds of network activities will be targeted at human resource planning: human mobility and curriculum development. The network will also seek to develop Computer Vision tutorials, to serve as a model for university and tutorial curriculum. The Computer Vision standard curriculum will be developed at a meeting of the network members, and will be revised on a regular basis.
The network will exploit the distributed data base to develop a program of ``on-line'' multi-media tutorials on computer vision using the network distributed data base. These tutorials should grow to encompass a multi-media ``encyclopedia of computer vision''. This project should solicit multi-media tutorial contributions from members nodes. It should be possible for any node to browse through this encyclopedia of tutorials in search of lessons and information. The contributions to this interactive encyclopedia should be updated on a regular basis using the network.
