The SMARTnet is composed of leading laboratories and enterprises in
the areas of perception and autonomous systems from 6 EEC countries.
The network brings together leading research groups from France, the
UK and Northern Italy, with quality research groups from Ireland,
Denmark, Portugal and Southern Italy. The network includes small
enterprises with proven track records in technology transfer towards
industrial applications. The partners have been selected so as to
obtain a synergistic effect in technological development from
transnational exchanges of researchers.
