The network makes possible trans-national exchanges of
post-doctoral researchers and advanced doctoral students.
The network semi-annual workshops provide an opportunity
for young researchers to expose and discuss recent results
and research in progress in a semi-formal setting. The
annual SIRS symposium (a EuroConference event) provides
an opportunity for young researchers to publish and present
research results, and to interact with recognized leaders of
their field. The network has also been involved in the design
of graduate curriculum, course-ware and tutorial material.
