PRIMA
Perception and Integration for Smart Spaces
The PRIMA group was originally
created in 1987 as part of the LIFIA laboratory. PRIMA moved to
the INRIA Grenoble Research Center in 1997 as part of the GRAVIR
laboratory and was an official INRIA Project team from January 2003
through October 2016.
The INRIA project team PRIMA concerned technologies for the perception and recognition of
human action for intelligent environments and man-machine interaction.
During the period 1995 to 2005 members of the project team published
many papers on view invariant perception using local appearance. From 2000 to 2016 the research project was increasingly
devoted to Ambient Intelligence, context aware computing and
interactive environments.
